Bio

As Director of the Research Hub he coordinates the operation and integration of the project research streams through coordination with the steering committee, stream leaders and CI’s. He is experienced in leading large teams and delivering commercial outcomes for industry. He also leads the aquaculture systems and technology component of the project. With over 20 years’ experience in developing solutions for lobster rearing and infrastructure development, his research interests are in crustacean biology and specialised water treatment processes, including ozone. He also has a mechanical trade background providing a unique insight into the development of new aquaculture technology.
