Rhea Carr-Davies

Rhea has worked in research management roles at IMAS since 2014. In her role as Business Manager for the ARC Research Hub for sustainable Onshore Lobster Aquaculture, her responsibilities include financial management, reporting, strategic management, communications and promotion.

Laurel Trebilco

Laurel has been working with the Lobster Research Team since 2018. In her current role of Administrative Assistant, she worked alongside Forte Web Designs and Rhea Carr-Davies to create this website. Laurel has over 15 years' experience in fisheries and aquaculture research as well as in science communication and education.

Peter Mathew is a Hobart based freelance editorial photographer. He specialises in people but frequently shoots architecture, objects, events and sometimes even lobsters. Infographics

Lea Walpole

Lea designed the infographics on this site and is passionate about visual communication and the arts. She has worked in science communication for over 20 years as a consultant and also at CSIRO. Lea was a recipient of the CSIRO ‘Look out’ award as part of the Climate Change in Australia Team, producing the most detailed and comprehensive set of climate change projections ever prepared for the nation. Now based in Queenstown on Tasmania’s rugged west coast, Lea continues to design while running a co-working space and gallery, Soggy Brolly, for local artists and visiting creatives (scientists also welcome!).
